Why I got into dentistry is, growing up, my brother, my older brother was a dentist, and I was his dental assistant in seventh and eighth grade. And I really loved the flexibility he had, I loved his interaction with patients, how he helped patients.
When I was young, I either wanted to be an architect, a psychiatrist, or a dentist. And so, going through high school and being a bio major in college, I just reflected back on how life-changing it really was for him, and watching his interactions with patients, and I just thought that that was the right path for me.
It’s a great profession. It’s really great helping patients and working with the wonderful team that I have. It’s been absolutely the best decision I’ve made.
